Spacious Luxury Compact Apartment Design, What you want?
I've often get this question about how much
is the standard rate of renovating a home
how much does it cost to make my house beautiful
this value is fairly subjective we often
educate our clients to think of the value in
terms of turning the unit to be livable rather
than just turning it aesthetically pleasing
my name is Alex Lee and I am from Nu
Infinity today's episode on Design Seed
we will be sharing a project that
we designed that initially looked
like this and with a magical touch
the outcome turned out like this.
Being one of the most popular condominium
in the area our client was convinced to make
this their long-term home and to create the
kind of home that they have always dreamed of
they made certain they got a unit they
could fit their family a four and one
that comes with a generous balcony to
be able to sit outside in the evening
originally as per usual it was a space
with off-white tiles and a mediocre kitchen
chucked in thoughtlessly the spaces felt
disproportion and the loose items placed
seemingly contradicting its function and intention
the first thing we knew could create a better
quality of space was.
To flip the
existing TV wall with the sofa area
and because we needed a couch
that could fit a family of four
comfortably we decided to extend
a feature cabinet behind the sofa
adding an additional function to
this extension a casual work desk in
Marble finish extends out as a feature in the
center of the intentionally darkened corridor
the work desk allows the client to work and
at the same time look after the children
to optimize space we adjacent the dining
table to the kitchen island to create
an impressive long linear of a statement.
That is celebrated once you enter the unit
the dry kitchen consists of carefully selected
materials to give depth and dimensions to the
design simple yet sophisticated the initial
entrance to the wet kitchen had window openings
and the dry kitchen cabinets were disproportioned
and made the space absolutely unimpressive
after some adjustments to the dimensions and
carpentry design, the outcome was definitely worthwhile
the wet kitchen being an integral part
of an Asian home is no less impressive
designed to look cool and functional the
kitchen feels longer than it actually is
we wanted to achieve an ultra slim countertop
profile to emphasize on a sleek and minimalist
design outcome but applying something so slim
our concern was if it's going to be durable.
We chose a product called Kompacplus a
product fundamentally comprising
multiple layers of paper pulp soaked
with Raisin manufactured in Italy
it is tailored to offer durability without the
bulkiness easy to clean anti-fingerprints heat
and scratch resistance and contains antibacterial
properties not looking like a conventional wet
kitchen the client expressed that this is one of
the most loved outcomes of the entire home
Upon entering any of the bedrooms a darkened area where
the study is is designed to make that transitional
space more obscured and to shift Focus away
as people enter and come out from the bedrooms
the existing.
Corridor felt like an underutilized
foyer surrounded with dormitory looking doors the
results of converting all the existing entrance
into hidden doors with a darkened stainless
steel ceiling feature stages a dramatic
entrance foyer to the respective bedrooms
the clients brief was to turn all the bedroom
designs into sophisticated Hotel looking Suites
the client wanted to try fitting an island
dressing table in the center of the bedroom
but due to the restricted floor
space that wasn't possible
we didn't give up on the idea but we
decided to craft an outstanding dressing
table in the corner.
Wall of the bedroom which
seemingly felt like the center of the bedroom
we took carpentry design to
a challenging level by exploiting the
usual practice extending glass to a higher
length than the usual eight feet this glass
cabinet comes up to 12 feet in a single
piece with a fairly slim aluminum profile
the marble future wall was
intentionally stacked one over
another to create layering and shadows
that is caused from the natural lighting
carefully.
Selected materials intricate detailings
and bespoke craftsmanship a chemistry that
made the design and trailing once you enter
I must agree with what Nana mentioned
earlier why stinge on building your
habitat that you called home when
you can afford a Better Living
we turned this 1875 square feet condominium that
initially looked like this into an elegant and
livable home for a beautiful family of four.
